Gov. Jesse Ventura says he's ready for Harvard University.
Ventura is to meet with about 50 students at the John F. Kennedy School of Government's Institute of Politics in October to discuss the importance of getting involved in government.
"I believe I am qualified," he said Tuesday. "I'm a whole lot smarter than I was a year ago."
Ventura said he has learned more about politics from being governor than any school could teach him.
After he talks with students in Cambridge, Mass., Ventura was planning to participate in a televised town meeting and meet with Harvard faculty.
