Roosevelt "Butch" Nalls Jr., 50, an auto mechanic and laborer for Standard Ceramics, died Sunday (Sept. 5, 1999) in his Sixth Street home after apparently suffering a heart attack.

Nalls was born in Birmingham, Ala. He moved to Niagara Falls in 1950.

He had worked as an auto mechanic at various garages and was recently employed as a laborer for Standard Ceramics.

He enjoyed bike riding and working on cars.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline Bedgood Nalls; two sons, Arnaz Collier of Rochester and Shawn Johnson of Cleveland; 10 brothers, Melvin Leverette, Julius Crittenden, Albert, Larry, Frankie, Michael, Gregory, Ronnie, Ray and Curtiss; three sisters, Vickie Smith, Betty Hamilton and Tina; three stepdaughters, Sandra Bryant of San Diego, Donna Bedgood and Bridget Haslip; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be held at noon Thursday in Williamson Funeral Home, 635 Main St. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
