DONALD BORNGRABER, DRAFTSMAN, ELECTION INSPECTOR

Donald J. Borngraber, 64, of Amherst, a retired draftsman and election inspector in the Town of Amherst, died Sunday (Sept. 5, 1999) at home after a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, Borngraber graduated from Technical High School in 1952. He worked for Hooker Chemicals & Plastics Corp. in the 1970s and later for Abate & Associates until he retired in 1988.

He was an election inspector in Amherst for 15 years and was a supporter of many Republican candidates in the town.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Carey Borngraber; a daughter, Barbara A. Wozniak of Henderson, Nev.; two sons, Joseph M. of Bowmansville and Robert E. of Cheektowaga; his parents, Edward and Dolores Borngraber of New Port Richey, Fla.; a brother, Marvin of Holiday, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Dengler Funeral Home, 2070 Eggert Road. Burial will be private.
