Guilford County authorities have arrested one Motley Crue member and have another one in their sights -- drummer Tommy Lee.
Bassist Nikki Sixx was nabbed Friday night at a show in Raleigh on charges of inciting a riot at a Greensboro concert in October 1997. Sixx was charged with felony rioting and three misdemeanor charges of inciting a riot, assault and disorderly conduct.
Former heavy metal bandmate Lee wasn't arrested with Sixx because he didn't perform at the Raleigh show. Sixx posted a $7,500 bond early Saturday morning.
Sheriff B.J. Barnes has threatened to list Lee on a national wanted list if he doesn't turn himself in. If that happens, Lee could be arrested anywhere in the country and hauled back to Guilford County, where he faces the same charges as Sixx.
During the 1997 concert, Sixx allegedly directed racial slurs at a guard and encouraged the crowd of 2,500 to attack the guard. Witnesses said Sixx and Lee also poured a drink onto the guard's head.
The guard and his employer sued Sixx and Lee last year. That civil trial is scheduled for November.
