The Buffalo Bills Alumni/NFL Players Association-Retired Players Buffalo Chapter will hold its 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament Sept. 18-20 at Wanakah Country Club.

Former players expected include Reggie McKenzie, Joe Cribbs, Jack Kemp, Darryl Talley, Steve Tasker, Booker Edgerson, Ernie Warlick and Ed Rutkowski.

Proceeds from the three-day event will benefit the Doug Flutie, Jr., Foundation for Autism, the American Cancer Society and the Players Assistance Trust.

Salamanca's Shawn Rychcik was named most valuable player in the Amateur Softball Association's Men's Major Tournament this past weekend in Decatur, Ill.

Rychcik, a member of The Decatur Pride, was also named a first-team All-America for the seventh straight year.

Batting .533 in the tournament, Rychcik added four home runs and 14 RBIs in leading The Pride to its fourth-straight title.

Former Buffalo Belles and Brawn Track Club members took part in the National Masters Track and Field Championships in Orlando, Fla., last weekend.

Otto Reinhardt of Clarence finished third in the 400 meters (51.3), while former-Bills wide receiver James Lofton won the event at 49.6. The Buffalo 800 meters (2:00.67) and 1,500-meters (4:12.3) relay teams finished fifth and fourth, respectively.
