Veronica D. Macaulay, 82, a retired dietitian in Amherst and Elma schools, died Wednesday (Sept. 1, 1999) at her Hartland Road home.
A native of Binghamton, the former Veronica D. Tinkunos retired in the 1960s from Iroquois Central School, where she worked for 15 years. She also had worked for the Amherst School District and St. Francis Hospital. She lived in Burt before moving to Gasport 30 years ago.
A musician, she played the violin and piano. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, and bird watching.
Her husband, Douglas, died in 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce of Seattle, and Douglas of Lockport; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
