I have seen many of the problems at Ralph Wilson Stadium and understand the concerns about rowdy fans. But why does everyone have to suffer because of a few clowns? There are 80,000 fans at a game, so the clowns are very few. If these people were hit with much stiffer penalties, the word would get around and a lot of the problems would stop. Most fans attend because of their love for the game.
I feel taking away our containers is unfair. I need my container for hot coffee and cocoa in the winter months to keep warm. Do the Bills need to be reminded that this is Buffalo? We have two games in November, one in December and one in January, not counting the playoffs. I am really not looking forward to paying $4 for an eight-ounce cup of coffee or cocoa to keep myself warm. I have spoken with a lot of season-ticket holders who are angry about this and are thinking about giving up their tickets because of it.
The majority of good fans should not suffer for the antics of a few rowdy fans. Adults should be responsible for their actions and they alone should suffer the consequences for unacceptable behavior. Remember, we are no longer in grammar school, where if one student gets in trouble, the whole class suffers.
