Alberta Dolhon, 81, who was active in church groups and a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital, died Thursday (Sept. 2, 1999) at her Buffalo home after a brief illness.
Born Alberta Bryan in Larksville, Pa., she worked as a sales representative for the former King's Department Store on Hertel Avenue.
At St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, she was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Senior Women's Guild.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Stephen; a son, John of the Town of Tonawanda; two sisters, Marguerite Emershaw and Eleanor Bryan, both of Wilkes-Barre, Pa; a brother, Patrick Bryan of Pennsylvania; and two grandsons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Rose of Lima Church, Parker and Parkside avenues. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
