A meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday will give residents a say in what qualifications they want in the next Salamanca Central School District superintendent.

The meeting, in the high school auditorium, will be conducted by John Grant, superintendent of Cattaraugus-Allegany Board of Cooperative Educational Services.

Grant was selected by the School Board to head the search. Part of the plan is a $6,000 brochure on qualifications to be circulated to candidates.

The School Board hopes to pay the next superintendent, te be hired by March, in the range of $90,000.

The search was initiated after John E. Hogle resigned. Ray Cenni of Sherman was appointed interim superintendent.
