Louis F. Bauer, 84, a retired mechanic at Southland Frozen Foods in Barker, died Wednesday (Sept. 1, 1999) in his Ridge Road home.
A native of Barker, he worked at the food plant for 18 years before his retirement in 1980. He also had formerly worked at Merritt White International.
He was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Medina. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, the former Margaret Louise Brown; a son, Melvin F. of Lockport; four daughters, Rebecca M. Bauer and Charlene M. Cobb, both of Medina, Margaret A. Hedgpeth of Greenville, S.C., and Carol E. Rairie of Gasport; a sister, Lorraine E. Kysor of Middleport; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St.
