Frank N. Felicetti, the owner of Felicetti Concrete Products for more than 60 years, died Monday (Aug. 30, 1999) in Schoellkopf Nursing Home after a short illness.
Felicetti, 87, of Elmwood Avenue was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.
He and his father started Felicetti Concrete Products in their Elmwood Avenue home in the 1920s. In the early 1940s, they moved the business to its present location on Hyde Park Boulevard, and his brothers then joined the company. The firm supplies building blocks to construction sites in Niagara Falls and Western New York.
Felicetti was inducted into the Old Timers Hall of Fame for baseball and basketball.
He was a fourth degree member of Council 247, Knights of Columbus, was a charter member of the Century Club, a member of the Moose Lodge, St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Cristoforo Colombo Society.
Felicetti is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, the former Thacla "Tillie" Krawacz; two sons, Eugene and Philip; two daughters, Frances McCune and MaryAnn; a brother, John; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered today in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Ave., following prayers in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
