The Cattaraugus County SPCA in sponsoring a professional three-day seminar next week for those interested in training their dogs.

Stephen B. Phillips, director of Phillips Command Dogs and Narcotic Detection Services in Olean, will conduct the seminar at a cost of $150 a person.

The 15-hours of training will be held Sept. 10-12 at the Castle Inn on Route 417. It will offer training methods that give people the ability to understand canine behavior.

The methods used have enabled Phillips to save the lives of hundreds of dogs that would have otherwise been destroyed.

To register, contact the SPCA by calling 716-372-8492.
