Pet owners from across Erie County are invited to participate in a free rabies clinic for cats and dogs.

The clinic is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the SPCA, 205 Ensminger Road, Town of Tonawanda.

All pets must be at least 3 months old to get the vaccination and be restrained, with a leash or by the pet owners, at all times. Also, clinic representatives advise owners that no more than three pets per owner will be permitted in line at one time.

Proof of previous rabies vaccinations must be provided in order to receive a three-year certificate, otherwise a one-year certificate will be issued.
