The man accused of mowing down and killing a young brother and sister while driving drunk July 11 faces 19 charges.

Jerry A. Springer, 29, of Austin, Pa., was bound over for trial after a preliminary hearing Tuesday before District Justice Michelle Tasillo.

Savanna Scheck, 10, and her brother Clifford Scheck, 8, of Havelock, N.C., were killed while walking along on Route 872 south of Coudersport.

Springer remains in Potter County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail, Potter County District Attorney Jeffrey Leber said.

Among the charges are two counts of third-degree murder, two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two of drunken homicide by vehicle and two of homicide by vehicle.
