Johnny Rotten is an innocent man -- at least according to television's "Judge Judy."
John Lydon, the rock star with the memorable stage name, appeared on retired judge Judy Sheindlin's syndicated TV show Tuesday to resolve a job-related dispute with drummer Robert Williams.
Williams had claimed he suffered damages of $5,000 in lost wages and "civil battery" this summer after losing his job as drummer on Lydon's "Psycho's Path" album concert tour.
According to Lydon, Williams clashed with band members and quit after a rancorous dinner meeting. Lydon said the two bumped each other when Williams jumped up to leave; Williams claimed he was a battery victim.
