300 STUDENTS TO GO ON FOOD 'HUNT' SATURDAY

More than 300 students from five local high schools will spend Saturday morning going door to door in the Lockport area on a "food scavenger hunt" to restock the shelves of food pantries in eastern Niagara County.

Those participating in "Make a Difference Day" are from Lockport, Barker, Starpoint, Wilson, and Victory Christian Center. They will begin at Emmet Belknap Middle School on High Street.

The drive was organized by the Eastern Niagara United Way's volunteerism committee and the Points of Light Foundation. Several local restaurants and services clubs have donated refreshments, services, and cash.
