ROUTE 16 STUDY TO BE RELEASED

Results of a plan for future development along Route 16 between Yorkshire and Olean will be announced at a community meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in Franklinville Central High School's auditorium.

The plan's major findings will be identified by EastWest Planning & Development, hired by Cattaraugus County to study issues such as development, tourism, transportation, housing and other matters.

Residents of the Route 16 corridor are requested to attend to review the consultants' conclusions about jobs, tourism, housing and commercial development in the study area. Also to be reviewed and ranked by the public are the study's stated goals.
