I'm tempted to go with Jim Leyland and the Marlins. But this is no time to get carried away by sentiment.
The fact is, Cleveland is the better team. The Indians have the better lineup, more overall power and a defensive advantage in the middle infield, where a lot of World Series are quietly decided. Look for Omar Vizquel to have an MVP-type Series.
Most important, Cleveland has the better bullpen. Relief pitching -- especially long relief -- has become increasingly vital in recent postseasons. It should be a big factor again in a Series lacking for experienced, able starters.
Cleveland's bullpen was the difference in the Baltimore series. As a setup man, Mike Jackson is just as effective as Mariano Rivera was for the Yankees in '96.
The last four World Series have been decided in six games. So will this one. Indians in six.
