She might be quick with a comeback, but Rita Rudner heads for the slow lane when it comes to Indy car racing -- even if it's a video version.
Speeds up to 238 mph? "I'm not in any hurry," the comedian said Friday, letting other cars zoom past her in a virtual reality race.
"You're like an old lady on the freeway," race car driver Jim Guthrie yelled as she bounced from wall to wall on the three-dimensional screen.
"I didn't start driving until I was 30," Rudner explained. "I was raised in New York. You just had to know how to say 'taxi.' "
The star-studded event showcased the new $15 million Speedworld attraction at the Sahara Hotel, and raised more than $1 million for charity.
