CHEEKTOWAGA WOMAN ACCUSED OF ROBBERY

A Cheektowaga woman was arrested late Tuesday after she was accused of robbing Kim's Robo Service Station, Hyde Park Boulevard and Pine Avenue, of an undisclosed amount of money, Detective John
Donner said.

Lynda Nelson, 28, of Como Park Boulevard was charged with second-degree robbery at 8 p.m. after Officer Thomas Fournier tracked her down in the 500 block of 30th Street, Donner said.

The robbery occurred at about 7:45 p.m. when Ms. Nelson entered the store, put her hand inside her shirt as if she had a gun and demanded all the money from the cash register, Donner said. The woman then jumped over the counter to scoop up the money and fled.
