MAN ACCUSED IN 'ROAD RAGE' KILLING

Cory L. Epps was indicted Friday on murder and weapons charges in the "road rage" killing of a Cheektowaga woman three months ago.

Jailed without bail since his July 30 arrest, Epps, 26, of North Division Street, was charged with shooting Tamika Means, 26, once in the head after they quarreled about a traffic incident at East Delavan Avenue and Chelsea Place about 4:15 a.m. May 26.

Identified as the shooter by purported eyewitnesses during a court-ordered lineup, Epps is expected to be arraigned Thursday on his murder and weapons indictment.

The indictment was handed up to Erie County Judge Timothy J. Drury.
