Dr. Benjamin Byung-Kyoo Lee, director of pathology at Jamestown General Hospital and Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Lackawanna, died Wednesday (Oct. 30, 1996) in his Williamsville home after a brief illness.

Lee, 55, was born in Osaka, Japan, and was educated in Korea. He was a graduate of Seoul University and Seoul National Medical School. He received medical training in pathology at the University at Buffalo after coming here in 1971.

He was a veteran of the Korean navy and enjoyed fishing and writing.

Lee was a member of the Seoul National Alumni Association and a deacon at Korean United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Yvonne Kim; two daughters, Sophia and Joyce; and a son, Brian, all of Amherst; his mother, Soondal-Hah of Pusan, Korea; a brother, Suk Kyoo of Pusan; and a sister, Dukhee Lee of Seoul.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Amigone Funeral Home, 5200 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. Burial will be in Clarence Center Cemetery.
