HAMBURG PLANNING BOARD SETS MASTER PLAN HEARING

The Hamburg Planning Board will conduct its final public hearing on the proposed master plan at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Town Hall.

"There are very different ideas about where the town should go," said Planning Consultant Andrew Reilly.

The plan divides the town into eight areas and lays out proposed uses for each one.

Reilly said the proposals for controlling development in the Lakeview area have generated the most reaction.

The Town Board plans to conduct two hearings on the plan, probably in November and December. Town Councilman D. Mark Cavalcoli said he expects there will be a number of changes in the proposed plan before it reaches the Town Board.
