Pete Weber, winner of 21 titles, led after the first round of qualifying at the Touring Pro-Senior Doubles Championship.
Weber averaged 246.50 with a 1,479 pinfall total after six games. Wayne Webb was second with a 244.17 average and 1,465 pinfall total.
He was followed by Rick Steelsmith, winner of his only title in the last Touring Pro-Seniors doubles tournament held in 1991, with an average of 243.50 and a 1,461 pinfall total.
Steve Jaros was fourth with a 240.50 average and 1,443 pinfall total, and Brian Voss, a 16-time champion, was fifth with a 237.67 average and 1,426 pinfall.
Roy Buckley led the Senior standings, averaging 228.33 with a 1,370 pinfall total.
Dave Soutar, a 17-time champion on the PBA Tour, was second with 227.17 and 1,363, and Ron Winger third with 226.33 and 1,358.
