5:25 -- 2400 block of Pine Avenue, assault. A 16-year-old girl said a woman kicked her in the stomach, knowing that she is pregnant.

6:09 -- 1860 Linwood Ave., petit larceny and criminal mischief. Dan Frederick said someone took a light bulb from his tenant's front porch, and damaged the front doorknob.

6:47 -- 302 Rainbow Blvd. N., arrest. Kimberly E. Woods, 20, of 21st Street, charged with possession of stolen property after an employee at the Burlington Coat Factory said she took a skirt.

7:15 -- 8D Jordan Gardens, arrest. Arthur J. Miller Jr., 24, charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

7:33 -- 1000 Portage Road, arrest. Nicholas M.J. Lodick, 16, of Sherwood Avenue, charged with petit larceny.

7:40 -- 1618 18th St., Wilson Farms, harassment. An employee said a man threw a box of candy bars at her.

8 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. Thomas F. Soto, 32, of ierce Avenue, charged with assault after a woman said he choked her, and punched her in the cheeks.

9:40 -- 928 Niagara St., arrest. Joseph W. Norman Sr., 54, of Rainbow Boulevard, charged with assault after a woman said he punched her in the eye and mouth.

10:07 -- 1905 Whitney Ave., burglary. Aaron D. Swanson said someone broke into his home and took two stereo speakers.

10:34 -- 1100 block of Ontario Avenue, assault and endangering the welfare of a child. A 15-year-old boy said a man punched him in the nose.

11 -- 2824 Pine Ave., Wilson Farms, petit larceny. An employee said a man took three 15-packs of beer and left in a van.


1 -- 10th and Niagara streets, arrest. Terry D. Cauley, 29, of Southgate, charged with violation of a conditional discharge.

1:03 -- 1900 block of Niagara Street, miscellaneous investigation. Police said a man took a rifle from his grandmother's house in the Town of Niagara.

1:07 -- 300 block of 77th Street, assault. A woman said a man punched her in the face and broke the telephone.

1:55 -- 1410 Main St., A&D News, burglary. The owner said someone broke in through the roof and took an assortment of candy bars.

2:05 -- 800 Niagara Ave., arrest. Christopher D. Neadow, 30, of Fifth Street, Lewiston, charged with driving while intoxicated and passing a red light.

3:40 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Chress O. Tweed, 20, of South Avenue, charged with obstructing governmental administration.

3:50 -- 13th Street and Pierce Avenue, harassment. Cheryl L McNamara said a woman jumped on her and dragged her out of an apartment.

4:15 -- 2022 Tennessee Ave., burglary. Sherree Mallory said someone broke into her house and took an entertainment system, two televisions, two VCRs and a rack stereo system.

10:12 -- 909 Pine Ave., petit larceny. Jerome J. Ulatowski said three men took his cellular phone from his vehicle.

10:30 -- 2732 Orleans Ave., petit larceny. A 14-year-old boy said a youth took $50 in cash and checks from his jacket left on the front porch.

11:57 -- 300 block of Cleveland Avenue, assault and unlawful imprisonment. A woman said a man held her in the bedroom for about two hours and choked her, slammed her head into a dresser and bit her,until she escaped.


2 -- 1538 100th St., arrest. Lebunion Grooms, 61, of 100th Street, charged with assault.

2:45 -- 1114 15th St., criminal mischief. Katrin A. Vincent said someone scratched the side of her car.

3:05 -- 2732 Orleans Ave., larceny. A 16-year-old boy said someone took $20 from a table.
