Edward M. Gladow, 86, of Hatter Road, a former employee of the state Department of Transportation, died Sunday (Oct. 27, 1996) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital.
Born in Royalton, he had lived in Lockport and Middleport before moving to Newfane in 1966.
He worked as a mower and sign repairer for the state and had worked at Ranliegh Farms in Lockport for 26 years.
He was an avid gardener.
His wife, Freida Stack Gladow, died in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Gerald; two sisters, Edna Sauers and Esther Windsor, both of Medina; a brother, Elmer of Medina; two grandchildren; and two dear friends, Gladys Dieter and Jose M. Galvin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery, Gasport.[mllvll]
