TEENS FILE FALSE ROBBER REPORT

In an attempt to get police to drive them home to Buffalo, two teen-agers falsely reported they were robbed at gunpoint late Thursday at the University at Buffalo South Campus and forcibly driven to a gas station at Robinson and Transit roads.

They were arrested after Niagara County sheriff's deputies Brett Thompson and Gregory Saraf investigated and learned the pair was not robbed and abducted, but simply missed the 7:11 p.m. bus back to Buffalo and needed a ride.

Andre S. Williams, 17, of 156 Coit St. and Alisa R. Jones, 17, of 347 Best St., were charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident, deputies said.

The pair told deputies a man in a gray sedan forced them into the car at gunpoint at 7:25 p.m. at the south campus, robbed Williams of $119, drove them to Lockport and left them at the gas station.
