Irene B. Thompson, a retired restaurant owner, died Wednesday (Oct. 23, 1996) in her Middleport home. She was 94.
She was born Irene Culverwell in Hartland.
Mrs. Thompson had operated several restaurants in Western New York and had owned Thompson Enterprises of Western New York with her husband.
She was a member of the Western New York Restaurant and Liquor Association and Women of the Moose in Medina.
She was the widow of Alexander B. Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Daniel Thompson; a son, Lewis A. Clark of Florida; a daughter, Audrey Steingasser of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St. Burial will be in Hartland Cemetery, Gasport.
