Gow School and West Seneca Christian advanced to the Independent Athletic Conference boys soccer final with shutout victories Thursday.

Goals by Jamie Forer and Rudy Morgan scored and goaltender Jeremiah Middleton stopped eight shots to lead Gow (13-3-1) past Christian Central, 2-0. Jeremy Ignoto scored the only goal as West Seneca Christian (10-5) moved on with a 1-0 win over Park School.

The IAC title game is 2 p.m. Saturday on Erie Community College's North Campus.

Section VI girls soccer

Class B prequarterfinals: Kim Nogle's goal with 18 minutes left gave Tonawanda (10-6) a 2-1 win over Iroquois. . . . Goals by Emily Camberg, Ashley Wemmell and Jackie Haggen led Allegany/Limestone (13-4-2) over Grand Island, 3-1. . . . Sheryl Harrishburg had four goals, twin sister Jackie made nine saves and Michelle Wisniewski scored twice as Williamsville East (13-3-2) blanked Alden, 7-0.
