Rosina Rose Massaro, 87, of James Drive died Wednesday (Oct. 23, 1996) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
Born in Calabria, Italy, the former Rosina Falcone came to the United States and to Niagara Falls in 1920. She was educated in Italy and Niagara Falls.
Her husband, Dominick, died in 1948.
She was a member of the Anime Sante Del Pergatorio Society of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, and the Cristoforo Colombo Ladies Society.
She enjoyed gardening, baking and bowling.
Mrs. Massaro is survived by four sons, Angelo of Niagara Falls, Frank M., Dominick C. and Richard S.; three daughters, Ann Russo, Mary Sicoli and Angie Marinucci; 21 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 8:45 a.m. Saturday in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St., Niagara Falls, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:15 in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
