Conrad R. Neumann, a retired railroad conductor, died Tuesday (Oct. 22, 1996) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Neumann, 93, of 71st Street, was born in Buffalo, where he attended school. He had worked as a conductor for New York Central, Penn Central and Conrail for more than 45 years, retiring in 1971.
An avid sportsman, he enjoyed all types of sports. He also was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; four stepsons, Byron Robertson of Arizona, Stewart Robertson, Lloyd Robertson Jr. and Shelby Robertson; three stepdaughters, Ann Jennewine of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Patricia Reilly and Shirley Colern, both of Buffalo; 41 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
