Three defendants in driving while intoxicated cases appeared before County Judge Amy J. Fricano Tuesday.
William A. Knope, 31, of 311 Adam St., City of Tonawanda, was sentenced to five years' probation, a $3,000 fine, and 10 weekends in the county work program for his guilty plea to felony DWI. Knope, who was arrested May 19 in North Tonawanda, will also have to attend one session of the Victim Impact Panel, submit to random drug and alcohol testing, and had his driver's
license revoked for a year.
David A. Phillips, 34, of 445 Fourth St., Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty to felony DWI and will be sentenced Dec. 3.
Anthony A. Szeliga, 34, of 2424 Lockport Road, was arraigned on charges of felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from a lane unsafely, and inadequate lights. A pretrial hearing was set for Dec. 20.
