Future educational exchanges between Canada and the U.S. will be the subject of a program at 9 a.m. today during the annual regional conference of the Association of International Educators at the Buffalo Hilton.

More than 300 professionals in the field of international education are attending the conference, to take place through Wednesday.

Jean F. Gounard, director of international student affairs at Buffalo State College, will participate in this morning's program.

President-elect and vice president for program development of the Western New York Chapter of the Fulbright Association, he also will take part in a panel at 9 a.m. Wednesday on the meaning and impact of the Fulbright program.

Among notables at the conference are Hans De Wit, vice president for international affairs at the University of Amsterdam and past president of the European Association for International Education.
