Brady Kattman, a 1987 Kenmore East graduate who resides in Greece, N.Y., has been selected for the U.S. National Canoeing and Kayaking Team.
Kattman qualified for the team by teaming for a silver medal in the 200-meter four-man kayaking event and bronze medals in the 500- and 1,000-meter four-man in the U.S. Canoeing and Kayaking Team Spring Nationals.
The U.S. squad serves as the alternate to the Olympic team.
The Buffalo Bisons Speakers Bureau, in its 14th season, is now available for reservations.
The Speakers Bureau, which features Bisons general manager Mike Buczkowski; Jim Rosenhaus, the voice of the Bisons, account executive Ted Rich and mascot Buster T. Bison, offers organizations a unique look at baseball.

Requests should be put on an organizational letterhead and should include a contact person, date, time, topic of discussion and phone number. All requests should be mailed at least two weeks prior to the event. All appearances are subject to availability.
Douglas G. Moss, president and chief executive officer of the Buffalo Sabres, will address local high school students Wednesday and Thursday during Villa Maria College's annual Business Days.
He will speak on "Marketing the 'New' Buffalo Sabres" at 9 a.m. both days on the college campus, 240 Pine Ridge Road, Cheektowaga.
About 500 students, primarily from high schools in Erie County, are expected to attend the Business Days during which the students are encouraged to participate in career-focused workshops, and to interact with professionals.

TENNIS: Sportsplex in North Tonawanda is taking applications for winter leagues for junior and adults. Junior matches will be scheduled for Friday nights, Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons. Players are guaranteed six 1 1/2 -hour matches for $60. Junior divisions include ages 6-10, 10-14, 14-16 and an excellence and future stars program that goes up to age 21.
