Robert Olen Butler, Pulitzer Prize-winning author for his "A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain," will give a talk and a reading in Buffalo Wednesday. At 12:30 p.m. he will discuss "Writing About Vietnamese in America" in 410 Clemens Hall on the University at Buffalo's North Campus.

At 8 p.m. he will read from a new collection of stories, "Tabloid Dreams," in Hallwalls Center for Contemporary Arts, 2495 Main St. Both events are open to the public at no charge.
