TWO OF SIX WHO FLED ARIZONA PRISON AT LARGE

Two dangerous convicts remained at large today after a prison break in which six men cut through three razor-wire fences at a privately run penitentiary.

All six inmates are from Alaska, which has a contract to house several hundred inmates at the Central Arizona Detention Center, operated by Corrections Corp. of America.

Three of the men who escaped the prison Saturday were convicted murderers, and all were considered dangerous, authorities said.

The fugitives who remained at large Sunday were convicted murderer Leslie Simpson, 28, and Edward Martin, 56, who was serving time for a sexual offense.
