The Newstead Planning Board has sent to the town Ditching Committee for review plans for the Greenbush Road subdivision.

The proposed project on the west side of the road is about a half-mile north of the Swift Mills Road intersection. Planners said the survey for the 1.548 acre-lot that measures 150 feet by 450 feet, shows a 5-foot ditch running about 300 feet parallel with the south property line and crossing over in a northerly direction.

Board members reviewed some areas of concern that included easements, maintenance and the direction of water flow.

In other action, the board approved plans for the Davison Road subdivision, about 800 feet south of Clarence Center Road. The proposed subdivision, just under 3 acres, will be divided into two parcels of 1.429 acres, each with a 150-foot frontage and a depth of 415 feet.

Board members this month also approved site plans for Jack Hayes Olds-Pontiac to expand an existing automobile sales building at 13090 Main Road, and plans to construct vestibules at the entrance of the Akron Mennonite Church at 11500 Clarence Center Road. Officials noted that a variance is required because the church is less than 50 feet from the right of way.
