2:15 -- 3 Building, Packard Court, assault. A resident said a group of youths threw rocks at a 6-year-old girl, hitting her neck.
3 -- 728 Cedar Ave., arrest. Roy Lee Mills, 34, of Calumet Avenue was charged with burglary and petit larceny.
4 -- 302 Rainbow Blvd. North, Rainbow Centre Factory Outlet Mall, London Fog Coat Factory, petit larceny. An employee said a man left the store with two or three coats and failed to pay for them.
4:48 -- 8740 Munson Ave., aggravated harassment. A resident said a man has been leaving obscene messages on his answering machine.
5 -- 34 Building, Unity Park, robbery. A resident said a teen-age boy pushed her 10-year-old son to the floor and forcibly removed his sneakers. The thief then fled.
5:10 -- 2951 North Ave., larceny. A woman said someone entered her garage and stole a 10-speed bicycle but left a three-speed bicycle.
5:30 -- 8424 Niagara Falls Blvd., Social Security Administration office, harassment. A witness said he overheard a man say, "They blew up the wrong building. They should blow up this building."
6 -- 357 1/2 Memorial Parkway, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing. A Lewiston man said a woman kicked and damaged a door at a building he owns.
6:41 -- 1929 Whitney Ave., assault. An 18th Street resident said a man punched him in the face during an argument. He said he then punched the man, knocking him out.
7:20 -- 5600 block of Devlin Avenue, arson. A Wheatfield woman said a witness saw a man toss something into her car shortly before the vehicle ignited in flames.
8 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. Marilyn J. Rankin, 41, of Ontario Avenue was charged with forgery after police said she filled out bogus medical prescriptions and tried to get them filled at two city pharmacies. Police said she took the prescription pad from a Fourth Street doctor's office.
8:35 -- 11th Street and Cleveland Avenue, arrest. Ronald L. Stiner Jr., 19, of Jordan Gardens was charged with drug possession.
10:19 -- 7202 Buffalo Ave., arrests. Joseph J. Pinkowski, 30, of 58th Street, and Dan Reynolds, 36, of Creekside Parkway were charged with marijuana possession.
11:32 -- 1244 Pine Ave., arrest. Jose L. Torres Sr., 43, of Pine Avenue was charged with assault after a woman said he pushed his way into her apartment, kicked her leg and punched her, injuring her right hand. She said he also pushed her furniture around and took her telephone before fleeing. He returned while police were at the scene and was arrested.
1:15 -- 11th Street and Michigan Avenue, assault. A 14th Street man said one of three men who jumped him cut his thigh with a razor. He was treated in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, police said.
1:43 -- Highland and Fairfield avenues, arrest. Benjie I. Houston, 22, of Packard Court was charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to leave an area posted with "No loitering" signs.
2:46 -- Highland and Fairfield avenues, arrest. Reginald K. McCreary, 34, of Ontario Avenue was charged with violating a conditional discharge from jail after he refused to leave an area posted with "No loitering" signs.
3:05 -- 2700 block of Ferry Avenue, arrest. April Russell, 22, of 79th Street was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was accused of driving with a suspended license, failing to keep right and driving on a flat tire.
3:55 -- 200 block of Lockport Street, arrest. Kristen M. Blackley, 23, of Grandview Drive, Amherst, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to make a turn.
4:40 -- 1911 Ferry Ave., A-Plus Mini Mart, larceny. A North Tonawanda woman said a teen-age boy yelled profanities at her, grabbed her purse from her car and ran after she came out of the store and saw him near her vehicle. She said the purse contained two payroll checks, two checkbooks and credit cards.
4:45 -- 1911 Ferry Ave., A-Plus Mini Mart, attempted robbery. A 20th Street man said two teen-age boys approached him outside the store, and one punched him in the jaw and on his left side. He said the two intended to rob him until he fought them off and ran home.
7 -- 2700 block of Willow Avenue, arrest. Susan E. Travis, 42, of Saunders Settlement Road, Town of Niagara, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, making an improper left turn and failure to keep right.
9:30 -- 420 56th St., arson. A man said someone started a fire on the roof and rear wall of his garage. He said a man had previously threatened to burn his garage.
12 -- 2500 block of Welch Avenue, criminal mischief. A man said someone broke his car's passenger-side window and stole a video game unit, one game cartridge and a wallet containing $4 and personal papers.
1 -- 533 20th St., burglary. A man said someone entered his apartment through a window and stole a videocassette recorder, a compact disc player, 80 discs and a cable television converter box.
1:10 -- 9703 Niagara Falls Blvd., harassment. A resident said a man punched him in the chest after he intervened when the man threatened to beat a woman at his home.
1:50 -- 825 Pine Ave., arrests. Andre Johnson, 55, of Memorial Parkway and a man about 50 years old who refused to identify himself were charged with disorderly conduct.
2:20 -- 143 71st St., criminal mischief. A resident said someone punctured four tires on his car and smashed the windshield while the vehicle was parked in his driveway.
3:25 -- 1000 Portage Road, Tops Markets, arrest. Vernon L. Briggs, 39, of Ferry Avenue was charged with petit larceny after a store security guard reported seeing him put four packs of cigarettes in his pocket and try to leave the store without paying.
