HANOVER -- With the arrests of two Forestville teen-agers, Chautauqua County sheriff's officers Thursday said they solved 10 criminal mischief incidents this month.
Ronald J. Brewster, 17, of Route 39, and Jared Hite, 17, of 11040 Mixer Road are both charged with felony criminal mischief. Brewster also is charged with felony burglary.
The two allegedly smashed large windows at the Hanover Rod and Gun Club on Overhiser Road on Oct. 6, and damaged the lawn by driving on it. Brewster was charged with burglary for allegedly stealing beer there.
On the same day, the two smashed mailboxes in the Hanover and Arkwright areas, tipped over a pop machine at Dailey's Variety Store in Smith Mills, and broke the windows out of a vehicle and a tractor on Farrington Hollow Road, police said.
