Margaret Nabors, 51, of Brooklyn, a former Niagara Falls resident, died Saturday (Oct. 12, 1996) in Beth Israel Hospital in Brooklyn.
The former Margaret Hart was born in Butler County, Ala., came to Niagara Falls as an infant and attended local schools. She moved to Brooklyn in 1965 and graduated from Brooklyn High School. She also graduated from Bernard M. Baruch College of City University of New York.
Mrs. Nabors operated her own word processing business from 1987 to 1992 and was a supervisor at Bankers Trust Co. of Brooklyn.
She was active in the Brooklyn Tabernacle and enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Nabors is survived by her mother, Pearlie Mae Hart of Niagara Falls; a son, Andre of Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Marronda of Brooklyn; two brothers, Gary Hart and Terry Hart, both of Glendale, Ariz.; seven sisters, Angenette Hart Ellis of New York City, Linda Hart of Atlanta, Robin Hart of Baltimore, Martina Hart of Laurel, Md., Ruthie Hart of Beltsville, Md., Andrea Hart of Brooklyn and Yvonne Hart Myles of Niagara Falls; three grandchildren; and her longtime companion, Amos Walker of Brooklyn.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in New Hope Baptist Church, 1112 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
