Olga L. Pfanner, 80, of the City of Tonawanda, a retired secretary at Tonawanda Senior High School, died Monday (Oct. 14, 1996) in North Gate Manor Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a long illness.

Born Olga Peters in the City of Tonawanda, she worked for 16 years as secretary in the guidance department at Tonawanda Senior High, retiring in 1977.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ; Sirius Chapter 301, Order of the Eastern Star; the Historical Society of the Tonawandas; and the Tonawanda Senior Citizens.

Her husband, Ralph L., died in 1983.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Ackerman of the City of Tonawanda and Carolyn Giambra; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William streets, City of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.[dndrsn]
