Buffalo law enforcement officials are seeking assistance this week in tracking down a bank robber.
Police say that shortly after opening for business Sept. 12, a bank teller at First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Rochester on Genesee Street was approached by a customer who handed her a note demanding money and warning her not to make any false moves.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber left. He was last seen walking east on Genesee. No weapon was displayed, but the robber was carrying a newspaper that may have contained a weapon.
The robber was described as a black male, about 30 years old, 5 foot 10, with a stocky build.
