Kim Canady averaged a 217.4 pinfall for 16 games to take a 27-pin lead over Becky Mullen Tori Romeo after two rounds of the LPBT's Columbia 300 Delaware Open in Claymont, Del.

Among three local bowlers in the tournament, Liz Johnson of Niagara Falls is 16th at 3,318, Susan Jeziorski of Tonawanda 25th at 3,238 and Cindy Coburn-Carroll of the Town of Tonawanda 33rd at 3,205.

Canady, of San Francisco, had a 3,489 total. Julie Gardner was third at 3,439, followed by Michelle Mullen at 3,427 and Shana Ray at 3,413.

The top 21 after Monday night's round will join 11 seeded players in match play.
