Sister M. Andrea Ciszewski, general minister of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, will receive Hilbert College's 1996 Mother Colette Hilbert Award during a 2 p.m. reception Oct. 27 in Romanello's South restaurant, 5793 South Park Ave., Hamburg.

Her award, for dedicated service to Hilbert, is named for Mother Colette von Hilbert, founder of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph in 1897.

Sister Andrea, spiritual leader of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, has been a trustee of the Hamburg-based Hilbert College since 1986. She was also recipient, a year ago, of the Hilbert College Medal for distinguished service.

She is a former teacher at St. Columba's Catholic Elementary School, Immaculata Academy, Hilbert -- and St. Stanislaus Catholic Elementary School, where she served as principal.

Maureen W. Saab and Barbara Castiglia are chairwomen of the reception. For reservations, contact Karen Procknal at the college.
