Four persons were treated in area hospitals after two cars collided Sunday on Niagara Falls Boulevard near Nash Road, Trooper Jeffrey Schneggenburger said.
The accident occurred at 12:05 p.m. Schneggenburger said a car driven by Dwight M. Bonk, 51, of 1013 Wurlitzer Drive, North Tonawanda, was struck nearly head-on by the oncoming southbound car of Dennis J. Radomski, 45, of 482 21st St., Niagara Falls.
Radomski was unhurt, but three passengers, all from Niagara Falls, were taken to hospitals. His mother Mary Radomski, 68, and Milton Williams, 75, were taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where they were admitted Sunday night. No condition reports were released. Schneggenburger said Mrs. Radomski had a chest injury and Williams had injuries to the head, back, and knee.
Radomski's father Casimer, 75, was released after treatment in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, for a leg injury.
Bonk was treated for a head injury in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, and released. Schneggenburger said charges are pending against him.
