With Bo and Hope's wedding planned as a highlight of "Days of Our Lives'" fall season, many former cast members will be visiting Salem to join in the November event. Those scheduled to arrive during the first week of November include Patsy Pease (Kimberly), Lisa Trusel (Melissa), Bill and Susan Hayes (Doug and Julie), and Marie Cheatham (Marie).
Alex Donnelly, who played Diane Richards on "The Young and the Restless" during the 1980s, has returned to the series in that role. Diane's former lover, Jack, will try to convince her that he's mended his errant ways.
Also on "Y & R," the character of Hope, played by Signy Coleman, has again been reactivated. With Cliff having died in Kansas, Hope is likely to return to Genoa City, where her story line may lead to her gaining sight, a twist Coleman had previously resisted.
If Bay City residents think they're seeing a ghost, that's due to the appearance of the spirit of Ryan Harrison. Actor Paul Michael Valley, who played the role originally, comes back to "Another World" on the spiritual plane briefly during November.
Arija Bareikis is playing the pregnant young woman, Emily, on "One Life to Live." "OLTL's" Stephen Macht, who portrays Dr. Elliot Durban, will appear in several episodes of "Melrose Place." He'll be involved with Donna Mills' character, reuniting the two actors who worked together on "Knots Landing."
Robin Strasser (Dorian, "OLTL"), stars at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in an ABC after school special, "Me and My Hormones." The program explores three generations of women living together, each experiencing her own age-related stresses. The one-hour show also features "General Hospital's" Stuart Damon (Alan) in the role of Bill.
