Kali Ann Poulton, the 4-year-old who vanished without a trace while riding her tricycle outside her home on a spring evening in 1994, finally has been laid to rest.
Her family held a private funeral service Friday in suburban Greece, requesting that the burial site not be revealed. In August, more than 2,000 people attended a public memorial service.
The man suspected of strangling her in his apartment minutes after her disappearance in May 1994 lived just 100 yards from Kali's home in a secluded subdivision in Pittsford, a Rochester suburb.
Mark Christie, 24, was turned in by his wife after purportedly blurting out his involvement.
