The Gayles and Billy McEwen, local musicians, will sing the anti-drug song, "Come Light the Night," as part of the opening festivities this evening for First Night Buffalo.

The singers, who along with other local musicians taped the song earlier this year for Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, will perform the song in front of the Niagara Mohawk Building at Washington and Huron streets after a 5 p.m. parade from the north end of the Main Place Mall to the Niagara Mohawk Building.

They are replacing the Peace Child Chorus, which won't be able to perform.
