The music industry is allowing a great injustice to take place in the world of music.
No credit is given to the writers, composers or arrangers of the music of today even though they may deserve as much, if not more, recognition than the performer.
The sad fact is that most groups don't write their own material anymore and are often only too willing to take credit for someone else's work.
The music industry encourages this by promoting performers who look good on stage but have little ability beyond their singing. It's time that the music industry give the proper recognition to the others who are involved in creating music, not just the people who perform it.
