Canisius College alumni Lisa Helene Bieron and Paul Charles Hoffman were united in marriage Saturday at 5 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel at the college.
Monsignor Rupert A. Wright of St. Amelia Catholic Church performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Bieron of East Amherst and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Hoffman of Town of Tonawanda.
A reception was given in the college's student center before the newly married couple left for Bermuda. They will make their home in Rochester.
A graduate of Williamsville North High School, the bride is a fourth-year student in University of Rochester Medical School. The bridegroom, an alumnus of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, is a loan specialist with the Small Business Administration.
The bride's father is director of athletic facilities and assistant to the vice president of student affairs in Canisius College. Her mother is assistant director of development for Children's Hospital and a sustaining member of Junior League of Buffalo.
The bridegroom's father is director of financial services for Fisher-Price and is a trustee of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
